Vevo- Youtube and Universal Music Group will launch a new music video site

The big record companies are upset that youtube is so popular and has more friends then them. They want to be just as cool. Advertisers aren't paying youtube too much money despite its popularity. YouTube is growing like crazy and has over 100 million users in the U.S. alone according to comScore. The more friends you have visiting you on the internet the more money you can make from advertisers. The musicians that the record labels own can currently be watched on youtube for free. This upsets the record labels and isn't fair to the musicians. Most of what you watch now on youtube in terms of music, television and movies is copyright infringement and the record companies are fighting back.

Google's YouTube and Universal Music Group, the world's largest music company, are teaming together to form a music video website that will attract bigger advertisers. Youtube will share in advertising revenues so they are happy to play. This new website will be called Vevo and is expected to launch in a few months. It will contain higher quality videos most likely in HD as opposed to the ghetto grainy and often user generated videos that you now see on YouTube. That's good news for the music listeners. The idea is for Vevo to attract larger corporate advertisers that will pay more money to advertise over, under and around legitimate videos. Billy's illegally uploaded video of Boom Boom Pow by The Black Eyed Peas isn't attracting the advertisers that pay a whole lot of money.

This Vevo invention can be compared to Hulu, which is an online video service owned by NBC Universal and News Corp. Hulu features popular TV shows and some movies, and has been able to sell advertising to bigger corporate brands than YouTube. The more legitimate the content the higher advertisers will pay. Vevo will try to copy this model and make that money.

Beatboxing Britney Spears - Kevin Roney

Britney Spears is an American singer and entertainer.
Kevin Roney is an American singer/songwriter and entertainer.

Disney trained Britney as a young girl how to be a star. She got her start on the Disney Channel singing on the Mickey Mouse Club. More people in the world now recognize Britney Spears then they do Mickey Mouse. She's come a long way from her days at Disney entertaining children with songs about Mickey Mouse. She now takes off her clothes on stage and dances on a pole for all of the children and adults around the world. As her career dries up naked pictures are purposely leaked to the media for more attention. Pornography is now music. Paris Hilton used video pornography to leak to the media to become famous as well. Sex sells right?

Kevin Roney is a musician that writes his own songs and makes fun of Britney Spears on his spare time. He put together a great parody of Britney Spears' songs Piece of Me and Toxic. What is most impressive about the song is that Kevin Roney beat boxes, sings and plays guitar all at the same time. It is a live performance recorded from his home studio. There are over 3000 sexy images of Britney Spears to watch while you listen. We recommend Kevin Roney here at Review Before you Buy and hope that you will checkout his original music when you get the chance. Visit his

What happened to Music?

What and who controls the music that we see and hear these days? Is it talent? Nope. It seems to be the Disney Channel. What is the Disney pop formula?

Disney pop formula

Take a small child under your wing. Put that child through Mickey mouse club bootcamp. If this child makes it through Mickey Mouse club boot camp then book that child in wholesome entertainment appearances with G rated traditional value content catering to the youth market. Once that child reaches high school age maturity toy with rebellion a bit. Push the envelope by taking off more clothes. When the star turns 18 take off a lot more clothes, take more pictures and put them on a pole. This is what sells to people today as music? What happened to good music and good songs?

Energy Drinks attributed to Ninja hyper enhanced acute perception disorder

Energy drinks and shaking hands
My grandma has the prettiest calligraphy handwriting style caused by shaky hands. MS Word should probably wise up and make a font for it, it really is wonderful. I'm mistyping various letters on the left side of my keyboard. Apparently my left hand likes to shake more then my right while under the influence of energy. I'm shaking not out of fear perse but because I'm completely wired on energy drinks. Yes energy drinks, plural. After consuming 3 energy drinks in an hour, I'm more alert then I ever imagined possible. I feel great I think?

What is Ninja hyper enhanced acute perception disorder and how do I know if I have it?

Are you suddenly aware of things in your environment that used to go unnoticed?

For example while writing this sentence the rustling of the ants underground continue to annoy me. I hear surround sound chaos like music being played out of rhythm. Chaos performed by the orchestra of my untrained environment. The humming of the electricity sings together with the backfiring of the rusty creeking car at the exact moment that the hanging piece of shoe rubber falls off of the drooling boys shoe.

Can you believe it took 8 squeaky scrapes against the pavement to free that rubber and 12 revolutions of the fan before the clock finally changed hands and that pretty girl with the crooked teeth 5 tables behind me finally realized that she had received a text message. I sighed because I heard that damn phone vibrate milliseconds before her. It shook the metal clasp on her gaudy gold purse at the same time that the branch fell from the old oak tree a few blocks away. That careless gray tailed squirrel caused the branch to fall, it wasn't the wind like the old lady across the street probably thought. The wind was to blame though for the incessant smacking I hear now against the fingerprint stained window. Paper and tape acting like drumsticks as they beat against the glass blowing the rain stained flier that advertises the new energy drink I've consumed at the cafe I now sit at. As my left hand quivers to the beat I type. Life is loud.

What chemicals and drugs are inside of energy drugs?

Caffeine Taurine Ginseng Inositol Choline

Caffeine

Caffeine is known medically as trimethylxanthine, and the chemical formula is C8H10N4O2. When isolated in pure form, caffeine is a white crystalline powder that tastes very bitter

Medically, caffeine is useful as a cardiac stimulant and also as a mild diuretic (it increases urine production). Recreationally, it is used to provide a "boost of energy" or a feeling of heightened alertness.

Caffeine is an alkaloid. There are numerous compounds called alkaloids, among them we have the methylxanthines, with three distinguished compounds: caffeine, theophylline, and theobromine, found in cola nuts, coffee, tea, cacao beans, mate and other plants. These compounds have different biochemical effects, and are present in different ratios in the different plant sources. These compounds are very similar and differ only by the presence of methyl groups in two positions of the chemical structure. They are easily oxidized to uric acid and other methyluric acids which are also similar in chemical structure.

Sources: Coffee, tea, cola nuts, mate, guarana.
Effects: Stimulant of central nervous system, cardiac muscle, and respiratory system, diuretic Delays fatigue.

The presence of the other alkaloids in colas and tea may explain why these sometimes have a stronger kick than coffee. Colas, which have lower caffeine contents than coffee are, reportedly, sometimes more active. Tea seems the strongest for some. Coffee seems more lasting for mental alertness and offers fewer jitters than the others.

One hundred milligrams (mg) can increase mental alertness; 238 mg can increase cardiovascular endurance

Caffeine is an addictive drug. Among its many actions, it operates using the same mechanisms that amphetamines, cocaine, and heroin use to stimulate the brain. On a spectrum, caffeine's effects are more mild than amphetamines, cocaine and heroin, but it is manipulating the same channels, and that is one of the things that gives caffeine its addictive qualities. If you feel like you cannot function without it and must consume it every day, then you are addicted to caffeine.

Taurine

Taurine is an amino acid found in the heart muscle, white blood cells, skeletal muscle, and central nervous system. It is a building block of all the other amino acids as well as a key component of bile, which is needed for the digestion of fats, the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and the control of serum cholesterol levels.

Taurine polices our cell membranes, keeping potassium and magnesium inside the cells and keeping excess sodium out. In this way the nutrient acts like a diuretic, without the side effects of a pharmaceutical diuretic.

From a simple beginning where the chemical, taurine, was found to be a necessary constituent of the digestive fluids (bile) of mammals, it was discovered to be present in of all things, shell fish

Then with the advent of technology, the amino acid analyzer, taurine shows up as the amino acid in highest concentration in the blood.

Cat fanciers and others found that switching to lower cost diets for their animals led to spontaneous abortion, malformed fetuses; underweight, slow-growing offspring and blindness. Suddenly, taurine became an essential amino acid and if supplied in the diet as the chemical or in meats corrects the problem

And while veterinarians came to realize that cats were particularly sensitive to the level of taurine in the diet, it was only after 1985, in recognition that human babies were also vulnerable to low levels of taurine that it became a issue. Now most major suppliers of milk replacers have taurine as an ingredient. (Human milk is very rich in taurine as opposed to cow milk, and plants contain very little.)

Should one supplement the diet with taurine? You do it every day that you have a hamburger, fish and chips, even yogurt. The digestion of proteins in the diet yields up the amino acid, cysteine which through the miracle of enzyme chemistry converts cysteine to taurine. Do you need more, probably not unless you are an infant not suckling at mom's breast. (Conversion is inefficient in the early years.

Taurine has a number of physiological roles. Dr. Ryan Huxtable at the University of Arizona who probably knows more about taurine than any of those about, lists the major beneficial activities that taurine many be involved in as:

* An anticonvulsant (perhaps in epilepsy to control violent spasms)
* Cardioprotecterant (when the heart is deprived of oxygen (called ischemia), taurine may help in the recovery process by maintaining the integrity of cell membranes)
* Membrane stabilizer (Not only in the heart but in other organs as well, as example in the eye in cone cells.)
* As an anti-oxidant (much like vitamin E, taurine can react with free radicals and prevent a chain reaction.)
* A calcium modulator (taurine can bind to various metals including calcium, zinc and magnesium thus regulating the quantity of these metals that are free within a cell)
* Enantiostatic effect (really not sure what the Doctor means by this, would usually say that the compound provides a means of stabilizing the environment within which it is active.)
* Protective cellular functionality from the disruptive effects of environmental stress (if you use an athlete as an example, when they are active, the body's systems are affected in different ways

Deficiency: A taurine deficiency can exist if you do not eat shellfish, the nutrient's most abundant source.
Depleting Agents: Estrogen replacement therapy blocks the manufacture of taurine, as will chemotherapy or a lack of good bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. (Supplements of beneficial bacteria and vitamin B6 can restore the balance.)
Sources: Taurine is found in eggs, fish, meat, and milk, but not in vegetable proteins. It can be synthesized from cysteine in the liver and from methionine elsewhere in the body, as long as sufficient quantities of vitamin B6 are present. For vegetarians, synthesis by the body is crucial.
Herb Sources: Alfalfa, green tea, kelp, nettle, oat straw, and shepherd's purse.
Precautions: Few adverse reactions are associated with taurine supplementation. However, the amino acid should not be taken indiscriminately by people with ulcers because it can increase the secretion of stomach acids.
Dosage Ranges and Duration of Administration:

* Adults: 1-3 grams daily
* Constipation: 5 grams
* Seizure disorders, edema, high blood pressure: 1.5-4 grams daily, in divided doses

Panax Ginseng

There are actually three different herbs commonly called ginseng: Asian or Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng), American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius), and Siberian "ginseng" (Eleutherococcus senticosus). The latter herb is actually not ginseng at all, but the Russian scientists responsible for promoting it believe that it functions identically.

Asian ginseng is a perennial herb with a taproot resembling the human body. It grows in northern China, Korea, and Russia; its close relative, Panax quinquefolius, is cultivated in the United States. Because ginseng must be grown for 5 years before it is harvested, it commands a high price, with top-quality roots easily selling for more than $10,000. Dried, unprocessed ginseng root is called "white ginseng," and steamed, heat-dried root is "red ginseng."

The root is adaptogen, alterative, carminative, demulcent, emetic, expectorant, stimulant and tonic. It stimulates and relaxes the nervous system, encourages the secretion of hormones, improves stamina, lowers blood sugar and cholesterol levels and increases resistance to disease. It is used internally in the treatment of debility associated with old age or illness, lack of appetite, insomnia, stress, shock and chronic illness.

Known Hazards: Ginseng is not normally prescribed for pregnant women, or for patients under the age of 40, or those with depression, acute anxiety or acute inflammatory disease. It is normally only taken for a period of 3 weeks. Excess can cause headaches, restlessness, raised blood pressure and other side effects, especially if it is taken with caffeine, alcohol, turnips and spicy foods.

Consuming caffeine with ginseng increases the risk of over-stimulation and gastrointestinal upset. Persons with uncontrolled high blood pressure should not use ginseng. Long-term use of ginseng may cause menstrual abnormalities and breast tenderness in some women. Ginseng is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women.

Inositol

Any of nine isomeric alcohols, C6H12O6•2H2O, especially one found in plant and animal tissue and classified as a member of the vitamin B complex, though it is not considered a vitamin per se, since the human body can synthesize it.

Inositol, unofficially referred to as "vitamin B8," is present in all animal tissues, with the highest levels in the heart and brain. It is part of the membranes (outer coverings) of all cells, and plays a role in helping the liver process fats as well as contributing to the function of muscles and nerves.

Inositol, also part of the B vitamin complex, is closely associated with choline. Like choline, inositol (as phosphatidylinositol) is also found in lecithin, though in lesser amounts than choline, and acts as a lipotropic agent (milder than choline) in the body, helping to emulsify fats. The body can produce its own inositol from glucose, so it is not really essential. We have high stores of inositol; its concentration in the body is second highest of the B vitamins, surpassed only by niacin.

Inositol may also be involved in depression. People who are depressed may have lower than normal levels of inositol in their spinal fluid. In addition, inositol participates in the action of serotonin, a neurotransmitter known to be a factor in depression. (Neurotransmitters are chemicals that transmit messages between nerve cells.) For these two reasons, inositol has been proposed as a treatment for depression, and preliminary evidence suggests that it may be helpful.

Inositol is found in plants, as Inositol Hexaphosphate (IP6). It is a phosphorylated form of Inositol commonly found in fiber-rich plant foods. IP6 supports natural cell defense against damaging hydroxyl free radicals by chelating with reactive iron. It boosts the body's natural cellular defenses by increasing the levels of inositol phosphates in the cells; as a result, it dramatically increases natural killer cell activity, which plays a key role in strengthening the body's immune system.

Inositol is not known to be an essential nutrient. However, nuts, seeds, beans, whole grains, cantaloupe, and citrus fruits supply a substance called phytic acid (inositol hexaphosphate, or IP6), which releases inositol when acted on by bacteria in the digestive tract. The typical American diet provides an estimated 1,000 mg daily.

Inositol helps promote healthy hair and skin. It has been used to treat eczema, and it may help the hair, especially if there is an inositol deficiency. For sleep, 500 mg. of inositol before bed has a mild antianxiety effect (placebo?) as well as possibly helping to utilize fat and cholesterol during sleep.

Inositol has also had some success therapeutically in improving the nerve function in diabetic patients with pain and numbness due to nerve degeneration. Generally, diabetic people should take extra inositol. People with multiple sclerosis may also receive some benefit with inositol supplementation, as there seems to be a higher percentage of inositol deficiency in nerve cell membranes in those patients.

Choline

Choline, a dietary component of many foods, is part of several major phospholipids (including phosphatidylcholine - also called lecithin) that are critical for normal membrane structure and function. The major precursor of betaine, it is used by the kidney to maintain water balance and by the liver as a source of methyl-groups for methionine formation. Also, choline is used to produce the important neurotransmitter acetylcholine. In the body choline is mainly found in phospholipids, such as lecithin (phosphatidylcholine) and sphingomyelin. The outer leaflet of plasma membrane is rich in these choline-phospholipids whereas the inner leaflet is dominated by phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylserine, and phosphatidylinositol. Phosphatidylcholine, the predominant phospholipid (>50%) in most mammalian membranes, not only contributes to the structure of the membrane bilayer, but products of receptor-mediated lecithin hydrolysis also serve as important second messengers in signal cascades that control cell growth and gene expression. Disaturated phosphatidylcholine is the primary active component of surfactant in the lung; a deficiency of surfactant in the neonate leads to respiratory distress syndrome in premature infants.

The metabolism of choline, methionine, and methyl-folate are closely interrelated; the metabolic pathways intersect at the formation of methionine from homocysteine. Some choline can be formed from methionine This can provide some of the choline required by humans.

There are a number of mechanisms that ensure the developing fetus and the infant receive adequate amounts of choline. Like other nutrients, large amounts of choline are delivered to the fetus across the placenta. This depletes maternal stores of choline. Human milk is an especially good source of choline.

Deficiencies: Although each of the above functions is absolutely vital for the maintenance of normal cellular and organ functions, it has been difficult to identify choline-deficiency syndromes in humans. The Institute of Medicine noted that "Healthy males with normal folate and vitamin B12 status fed a choline deficient diet have diminished plasma choline and phosphatidylcholine concentrations, and develop liver damage. For these humans, de novo synthesis of choline was not adequate to meet the demand for the nutrient." Patients fed by total parenteral nutrition sometimes develop fatty liver, abnormal liver function tests, and low plasma choline and phosphatidylcholine concentrations. This is in part due to an impaired capacity to de novo synthesize choline. In some of these patients, these abnormalities resolve when they are treated with a dietary source of choline.

Diet recommendations: Based on the limited human data that is currently available, the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences USA, recommended that humans consume choline. They set an adequate intake (AI) level for choline of 550 mg/day for men and 425 mg/day for women. For children, the AI was proportionately adjusted for body size.

Food sources: Choline and choline esters can be found in significant amounts in many foods consumed by humans; some of the choline is added during processing (especially in the preparation of infant formula). Little reference information exists on the relative choline content of foods, but we estimate the average choline dietary intake (as choline and choline esters) of the adult human to be more than 500 mg/day. Orally ingested choline (e.g., as hydrochloride salt) may be degraded by intestinal bacteria and cause a fishy body odor; this does not occur when lecithin is eaten. Choline is also found in alfalfa, soybean, and peanuts.

Clinical uses: Amino acid-glucose solutions used in total parenteral nutrition of humans lack choline. The lipid emulsions that deliver extra calories and essential fatty acids during parenteral nutrition contain choline in the form of lecithin (20% emulsion contains 13.2 mmol/L). Humans treated with parenteral nutrition required 1-1.7 mmol of choline-containing phospholipid/day during the first week of parenteral nutrition therapy to maintain plasma choline levels.

There are no established approaches to determine nutritional status for choline. Plasma choline and phosphatidylcholine concentrations fall when humans are fed a choline-deficient diet or after strenuous, prolonged physical activity, such as running a marathon. Even in severe deficiency, plasma choline concentrations do not fall below 50% of normal. Measurement of serum alanine aminotransferase activity, which rises approximately 1 week after the feeding a choline-deficient diet, may prove beneficial in assessment of choline nutritional status.

Toxicity: Large oral doses of choline or phosphatidylcholine may be associated with hypotension, sweating, salivation and diarrhea. Large doses of choline can cause a fishy body odor. The Tolerable Upper Limit for adults has been set at 3.5 g/day of choline.

Energy: Due to its effects on brain acetylcholine levels, choline supplementation can enhance memory capacity in healthy humans and rats. Furthermore, choline, in conjunction with supplements that prolong the effects of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction, may improve neuromuscular transmission. Since dietary lecithin can increase plasma choline concentrations and is better tolerated than choline, it is best to supplement with lecithin rather than choline itself.

Slumdog Millionaire A big step for American Indians in Hollywood

Slumdog Millionaire is on video now so Review Before you Buy could afford to watch it and we give it two thumbs up. What a great movie! It wasn't all just sex and violence set in an American city. Slumdog millionaire was shot somewhere else. You could tell. Things looked different. People looked different. Well? They looked similar to each other but different from the majority of the people I see here in the U.S. They were darker skinned with darker black hair and brown eyes and spoke with really neat accents. They weren't african american you could tell they weren't. I'm so tired of white people as the starring actors and actresses in Hollywood movies. I'm even kind of tired of black people too.. Well I guess I'm kind of tired of Will Smith at least. Nah I take that back I love Will Smith. It's just really great that the United States and Hollywood gave American Indians a chance to shine.

See that's the first thing that we noticed while watching Slumdog Millionaire was how refreshingly different it was. I kept on saying.. "Look at all these American Indians in this movie. How cool." I mean how many westerns have you seen? Tons of them right? How many Native American movies have you seen? Ha. Not many right? See.

And these people were the stars! First Obama becomes the first african american president and now this? We are certainly growing as a pop culture nation. We're learning to accept people on television. We're learning that people from all races, religions and backgrounds can be on tv too. You don't have to look the same to be a star. Anybody can be a star.

K I'm in trouble a bit. My boss was yelling again. It was brought to my attention that I messed up. The Indians in this movie are not Native Americans or American Indians. They are in fact Indian Americans or Indians from India. My boss told me that many Indians that live in the United States are in Information Technology, Engineering and Sciences. Not all Indians he said but if I wanted to see one here I might look in those places. Hospitals have them because many Indians are Doctors. So not only are Indians smart.. but they are now stars I said. Real life stars on the big screen. How exciting this must be for Indians. There are more then a billion Indians on earth. I wonder if the average Indian statistically is smarter then the average white person or the average black person. Well smarter in terms of how much money they make at least? One thing is for certain I talk to a lot of Indians on the phone for technical support. I rarely can understand them but now they are stars!

Back to the movie review

I liked the movie towards the end the most because how hot is that Indian girl? Honestly? She was gorgeous right? Freida Pinto is her name. Freida Pinto is going to be the hottest new sex symbol in Hollywood you just watch. I'm calling it now. I'm basically in love with Freida Pinto now so maybe it's just me? But if you don't think Freida Pinto is the hottest girl in the world you have problems for sure.

The movie was about 2 brothers and their struggle to make some money while being treated fairly. It was quite a struggle. Things are different in India. Things are tougher then they are here in the U.S. We should feel lucky to have things so easy. We're spoiled brats really and we complain a lot. Watch Slumdog Millionaire and you will realize that your childhood probably wasn't so tough. It's great to see movies that tell a cultural story that teach us how lucky we are.

The theme of money and power is constant throughout slumdog and really the only reason the star of the movie got the hot girl was because he was about to be a millionaire. He won the grand prize on the show Who wants to be a Millionaire. But the struggles were most exciting... the lengths that these boys needed to go to before they could make some Benjamins was quite entertaining.

The goofy guy with the big ears was the main character. His brother that looked like Michael Jackson was a real scoundrel seeking wealth and power without a conscience. The big ear guy seemed to always do the right thing. Although love for his little brother did push Michael Jackson to make some sacrifices that made me a bit warm and fuzzy towards the end. I won't give it away but he got shot in a bathtub full of money.

Things I hated with a passion

The scene where the boy fell in poo poo while trying to meet a celebrity was really uncomfortable for me to watch but not nearly as uncomfortable as the dancing scene at the end of the movie. Did you see that? Oh my god it was awful. Almost ruined the whole movie for me. It was completely unnecessary to turn this movie into a really bad 80's MTV musical. I was really confused when this started happening.. So confused that I questioned whether or not it was really happening? And how about the lead actors ears? And how sexy was Freida Pinto?

It's not just me that liked this movie so did Oscar and the Academy. “Slumdog Millionaire” won eight Academy Awards including best picture and best director and it was nominated for 10 Oscars.

Chantix - The dream drug

I'm smoking while I write this review because you can smoke on Chantix for the first 2 weeks. I've taken Chantix before and it helped me quit smoking without cravings until I ran out of shipment from my dealer. Quitting anything is difficult, but quitting smoking seems almost worthless when you look at the sheer statistics of failed attempts. I want to quit smoking again now. I tried cold turkey for a few days before I broke down. I tried the nicotine gum and became a gum addict. Smoking smells bad on my clothes, stains my teeth and leaves me winded. Also I just learned the other day that smoking is linked to cancer? I know right.

People look cool in movies smoking because they don't care. It is associated with freedom and rebelliousness. The movies don't show you that an addict is the complete opposite of free. An addict is dependent and enslaved. One day maybe the lead rebel will chew on a carrot stick and be cool as hell but that day is not today and I don't care what you say.. you know smoking looks cool.. even if it isn't.

Chantix is a drug that helps people quit smoking. Smoking kills people slowly each day taking minutes from their lives. Chantix is catching some bad press lately because people have been killing themselves on it. Suicides are a pretty quick way to die. This scares me a bit but I don't notice any differences in mood on Chantix. I still love and hate life just about the same.

Chantix vs. Nicotine
Nicotine is a terribly addictive drug.

Chantix is a wonderful drug because it is non habit forming and allows you to have very vivid dreams. I love remembering my dreams. I've heard people complaining about Chantix giving them nightmares. People that have nightmares have unsolved issues that come out in the form of dreams. They probably have nightmares every night but just don't remember them. Chantix can't be blamed for this. I have awesome dreams on Chantix and would continue taking it while smoking just for the benefit of dream retention alone. But it turns out as an added benefit Chantix makes smoking cigarettes unappealing.

How it works
One day your usual habit of smoking just doesn't work for you anymore. One day the taste of the cigarette is no good. You would have killed someone for a cigarette yesterday but today you calmly just say no. You lose the cravings. There isn't any withdrawal or sense of loss. You inhale the cigarette just like you once did but it doesn't provide the pleasure that it once did. What an amazing drug and one that helps you to remember your dreams while making smoking unappealing. At $6.50 a pack this is a drug my pocket could get used to as well. I recommend Chantix to everyone but please be careful to monitor your moods and state of being while taking Chantix. If you start thinking that life is no longer worth living I would recommend quickly smoking cigarettes and seeking help from a mental physician.

Happy dreams.

Internet Job Search Sites - Relax, Let the job find you while you do nothing

Are you suffering from depression or a recession? There are a lot of job sites with supposed jobs to apply for aren't there? How come you can't find a job? Is there something wrong with you? It's not you that's the problem it's the fact that you're using the wrong technology to find the job. What job site is the best to use now adays? Have you tried applying to jobs all day and nobody is hiring you? What a waste of your time. Why not use the best job site on the web that has the technology designed to work for you not against you? Everyone is looking for jobs. Don't be like everyone else. Do you want to be the needle in the needle stack or the needle in the haystack? It's time to have the job find you not find the job. Searching all day for jobs on the interweb was the old way of doing things. Review Before you Buy will show you how to best harness the power of the internet to land your dream job without even looking. Without even looking? That's right. Through using the right web technology your next job will actually find you.

Our Economic Climate
Job analysts get paid. Job analysts have jobs as job analysts. They refer to our current economic climate with pretty words that inspire hope like; recession. Doesn't sound so bad when it is put that way does it? Like when someone calls a fat person big-boned. It just sounds nice and doesn't make anyone uncomfortable.

Job analysts have fancy projections that help to explain stuff that's going on in our economy and reasons why people don't have jobs now. Can they help you find a job? No. But they do have charts and are full of numbers that calculate intelligent projections that aim to predict when people can expect to find jobs. The outlook is always recessing.. never depressing.

If these same analysts didn't have jobs I bet they would use different words to explain what is going on. They might even say things like, "Man, we are in a depression right now." or ...

"It is really awful out there. I can't find a job to save my life." or..

"Mom and Dad can I borrow some money."

Billion dollar bailouts, financial crisis meltdowns, Obama's hope.. where are we to turn to to find jobs that pay us money? On the internet there are jobs right? Where? Which job site is best?

Review Before you buy has looked around for work enough on the internet to be able to help you out. Read our review below for the best jobsites that will put you to work quickly with the least amount of spam and clicks.

The Top 10 general job sites in regards to traffic and popularity are as follows:

1. Monster.com
I don't know why this mess of a site still is number 1, but it is. Monster.com is still the biggest and the most popular. If you've been on monster.com lately you might notice that it's more of an advertising site then a site for a person out of work. You might also notice that the load time for pages is ridiculously slow. That's probably due to the fact that these days they pack more advertisements in each page and between pages then they do jobs. With over 800,000 jobs, 130,000 employers and literally millions of resumes this is a big mess. They have associated sites in more than 20 countries around the world and everytime you submit yourself for a job you are faced with advertisements from companies that want to spam your email with their services. We don't recommend Monster.com to anyone looking for a job, but it is great if you like to fill your mailbox up with junk mail.

2. Careerbuilder.com
CareerBuilder is #2 in popularity and owned by several newspapers (Knight Ridder, Tribune and Gannett). Careerbuilder includes print want ads from more than 200 different markets in electronic format. In addition to the website carreerbuilder.com it's connections with the newspapers makes it the #1 print recruitment services provider for the major metropolitan newspapers throughout the U.S. A lot of the crap you see on this website is just copied and pasted from the newspapers themselves. Might as well pickup a newspaper. They acquired CareerPath in the year 2000 and Headhunter in 2002. They will bombard your inbox with emails everyday for jobs you are not qualified for. If you try to get off their email distribution list you will understand the frustration we have for this site.

3. HotJobs.com
HotJobs.com is a subsidiary of Yahoo! which means more advertisements, less content and less relevant jobs in more time invested by you. When's the last time you used yahoo.com for your search engine? You probably use google.com because it doesn't bombard you with advertisements. Same applies here. Watch out for 3rd party employers on this website. 3rd party employers are a major headache and many of the jobs are scam jobs. It's frustrating that Yahoo Hotjobs would allow companies to advertise jobs that recieve so many complaints from the better business bureau, but there is a lot of money made in scamming people and these scam companies are able to pay Yahoo/Hotjobs lots of money to advertise their job postings.. so they remain. You can get around 3rd party job listing results on Hotjobs by searching for the type of firm (direct employer or staffing firm--make sure you specify that you don't want to see results from third-parties) You can also search by location, job category and experience level. When you limit down your search criteria to better match your skills and qualifications you are finally faced with relevant search results. I would recommend using a fake email to signup for Hotjobs because you will get spammed quite a bit with this one too.

4. Guru.com
Guru.com takes a very different approach from many other job boards in that it caters to freelance talent. If you are open to considering a contract, consulting or freelance work, this site may be just the right thing you need.

5. indeed.com
We love Indeed.com. Indeed.com is much like google.com in that it is a search engine for jobs that are posted on different job boards. Indeed.com is a job aggregator. You can have jobs delivered to you by e-mail alerts and connect job listing results to many common RSS feed readers.

6. Jobing.com
Jobing.com is limited geographically but does provide good local employment opportunities in Arizona, Colorado, South Florida, New Mexico and is growing in other areas.

7. Job.com
job.com

8. Vault.com
Provides information on more than 3,000 companies and 70 industries. The Vault Career Library is Vault's best-selling collection of more than 60 career guides and employer profiles, including well-known titles such as the Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms, Vault Guide to Finance Interviews, and Vault Guide to the Top 50 Consulting Firms.

9. Jobster
Jobster is a job networking and aggregator site just like indeed.com and is growing in popularity.

10. simplyhired.com
simplyhired.com is a job aggregator similar to Indeed.com

Chocolate Skittles Review - Sweet candy love with a sour ending

I'm a chocolate fanatic. I pride myself in discovering chocolates many sugar faces and I'm always on the lookout for a different way to enjoy the latest and greatest in lifes little chocolate mysteries. Skittles bite sized candies have always been so boring. So predictable. That same stupid red package..that silly sugar flavor that always took second place to chocolate. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride Skittles bit sized candies. You freakin clown of a candy. How stupid you have become. I threw you away this Halloween even before the apple with the razor blade. I used you for marbles while chewing on a real candy.. a candy with something to offer... chocolate. You tried dressing yourself in attention seeking outfits like- Skittles sour, skittles tropical, skittles wild berry, skittles crazy cores .. all in a desperate attempt to mask the true flavor that made you famous.. original fruit. Yeah right.. how original.

But on the way to the movies last week something truly beautiful caught my eye. Time stood still as magical bite sized chocolate music sung sweetly through the air. I gazed eagerly at your radiance, full of hope and with an eager twinkle in my eye, I danced playfully to the candy counter. With every step I hummed the magic of hope in the pop melody of your sweet candy promise. See you were unique and hadn't hoed herself out to everyone with a sweet tooth like the other brands.

Don't let me fool you, it wasn't all happy times and delicious romance. I feared being hurt again. I told myself to not be so reckless this time. I wouldn't let emotion get the best of me. Remembering the painfull snickers of the X.. the deep feeling of emptiness after kit kat had broke off a little piece of my heart sometime last year.

I was going to be logical this time damnit. Play or be played I repeated. So I played along with Skittles' candy ass games. She pretended she didn't notice me at first (which enticed me further) but I wasn't noticeably eager and masked my desire suavely. I was strong and confident in knowing that I had what it took to have her. I reached into my pocket grasping the dollar bill that would bring us both together. I passed by the seductive stares of all of the other washed up candy brands that used to bring me so much joy in my younger years. Laughing at their predictable outfits and stupid excuses for flavor.. I imagined delicately crunching on your candy exterior that would reward me with a delicious chocolate filled center that would put the other candies I once had loved to shame. Skittle's Chocolate you were to be my prize in all of your mystery, beauty and purity. You were at that moment unrivaled at the top of my candy pedestal.

Smiling at the faceless candy pimp at the counter who was selfishly keeping us apart, I quickly completed our transaction. You were now mine.

But I quickly learned the sour truth behind your sugar coated lie. What a stupid fool I was to take the bait.

What a disgustingly awful tasting candy you turned out to be. Chocolate Skittles? Chocolate you say? You're a stupid fake. I'm ashamed and embarassed that I fell for the scam that you marketed to me. Prancing around in your new packaging pretending to be so different, so innocent and true? Chocolate? Vanilla? S'Mores? Chocolate Caramel? Are you freakin kidding me? I tasted nothing close to what you claim to be. How do you live with yourself? There is absolutely no chocolate in you. I repeat there is NO chocolate in Skittle's chocolate. It tastes like a normal skittle marinated in at best chocolate laundry detergent. You are chemicals that fail to imitate chocolate. There is nothing sweet or tasty about you. You are an evil fucked up game playing bitch Skittles Chocolate. I feel dirty to have even laid eyes on you.. let alone touch my lips to your lie. I feel used. I feel dirty but I've learned.

I've learned now that the thrill of the chase inherent in the search for suitable sweet candy treats many times will leave you sour as fuck.

It is my job at Review Before you Buy to let you know the truth to save you from the same mistakes that I have made. I will never, ever do this again. I will not be fooled by Skittles Chocolate. There is no chocolate here. There is nothing real here. You have been sold a lie. Please do not make the same mistake that I have.

Fuck you Skittles chocolate

RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 Sprint

I've had the Blackberry Curve 8330 for about a month now and I must say I'm very satisfied with the reliability, usability and all of its features. It's so easy to use sometimes that I find myself reaching for my phone sometimes before my computer when checking email or surfing the internet. That sounds silly but it is in fact true. Sometimes it is just faster to get things done on the phone then it is on the computer.

Even with all of the work that I do on this thing, the battery lasts a full day while putting the phone to work with videos, internet, texting, web browsing and talking. Believe me.. I do put it to work and have become a blackberry crackhead just like I never thought I'd be. The included SD card leaves enough room to be really productive with multimedia storage and you can upgrade the storage capacity to 8 GB! Because of this large storage capacity I've found myself leaving my Ipod at home and using my phone for an mp3 player as well. The Curve is the closest thing to a laptop that Sprint has to offer. I've tried the ridiculous Palms and even the ridiculous touch screen Palm with windows operating system on it. What a big mess that was.

But smart Phones aren't for me?
I never thought these smartphones were for me because of their small keyboards that appeared to be more of a needless hassle then a tool for productivity. To my suprise the keyboard is very easy to use and even after a month I'm almost as quick typing on the phone as I am on my computer. The QWERTY keyboard is better than others I have used where the keys are right next to each other. Its nice to have them separated allowing me to text message with one hand.

Texting and Driving - Cut it out.
Texting while driving is really a bad idea but you know you can't resist. Drinking and driving is probably a better idea then looking at a small screen, reading and typing when you're supposed to be watching the road. I use Vlingo. Reply to texts by voice using Vlingo it's free. Just speak your texts and have them automatically typed out for you. Sure beats getting into an accident because you couldn't resist being connected. It's a free download.

Internet
For web surfing I prefer the Opera browser over Blackberry's included browser because you can surf websites exactly how they appear on the computer and zoom in to specific areas of the website that you are searching for, allowing you to get the same work done on your phone that you would do on the computer. It includes WIFI which I haven't really found the need to use yet since I find internet surfing to be quick enough just using Sprint's network. I have noticed that I never miss incoming calls when internet surfing, even when I'm on youtube watching videos. My old multimedia phone caused me to miss a great deal of calls when on the internet which was very annoying. What's the point of using your phone for the internet if it's no longer a phone when you use the internet? The blackberry curve is great because even with all of it's bells and whistles it realizes it's priorities. Calls first, toys second. Afterall this is a telephone right? To my knowledge I've never missed a call yet when surfing the web.

Email
Email setup is very quick and blackberry's included software makes it very easy to backup all of your media files or synch your blackberry with your computer for Outlook integration and backing up your contact list.

Camera

The 2.0 mexapixel camera with 5X zoom and camcorder are very easy to use and I've found myself updating twitter, myspace and facebook with pictures and even uploading youtube videos on the go.

Some Negatives
It's annoying that websites with Flash can't be viewed on cellphones. This is a problem with all cell phones not just the Blackberry. There aren't any flash viewers or players for the Blackberry that I've seen so far. I don't think there are plans yet in the making for Flash support on the Blackberry or any other smart phone because it would be too demanding on the device resulting in very slow internet surfing. Seeing as how more and more websites use flash on their websites without flash support it can be limiting to your productivity. I've also found Bluetooth to be pretty difficult to use on the Blackberry Curve.
Bluetooth is either a bit buggy or I have too much ADD to thoroughly read the manual to figure this one out.

All in all the Blackberry Curve 8330 is more reliable then other smart phones and very easy to use. Blackberry has a wonderful community for support and even 30 days later I find a great deal of free software add ons that still make the device fun. For example I just downloaded a guitar tuner for my Blackberry curve. More and more I find myself leaving behind other portable devices getting my technology fix through the Blackberry alone.

Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub

This is the first face wash I have found and stuck with for awhile. I have been using it every night before I go to bed for over a year. It does not make me break out (which some washes do) and it actually does make my face look better and glowing. Also, it helps remove the pesky blackheads off my chin and nose. I generally scrub for about a minute and then rinse.

I do not use it twice a day, however, because I think it would overdry me. I use a different Neutrogena product in the morning, that is not a scrub.

The smell is kind of pleasant, too! Also, I have found that Target has the least expensive prices, unless it is on sale at Walgreens.
